Auckland’s famous Viaduct Harbour is where you will want to be during the America’s Cup in 2021. It’s the closest accommodation to the Americas cup team bases. It’s where all the sailors hang out. Boats, bars, restaurants, & good times. This is where the action will be.

Park Hyatt promises to be Auckland’s best hotel. Set to open September 16 2020. It sits on the corner of the Viaduct basin and Wynyard Quarter. Offering 4 restaurants, incredible views, spacious and luxurious rooms in the best location in Auckland. This will be THE place to stay During the America’s Cup. Book now to avoid missing out.

Auckland is known as the City of Sails, and a stay at the Hilton literally puts you out on the harbour amongst the yachts. It’s located on the tip of Princess wharf so the views of Auckland’s waterfront are incredible. You’ll be able to watch the Americas cup yachts come and go from your balcony.
The Hilton hotel is located next to Viaduct Harbour which is a must do location to visit, with more restaurant choices than you’ll be able to try during your stay. It’s a short walk to Auckland’s central business district, Britomart train station and the Maritime Museum. Also close by is the ferry terminal.
As you’d expect from the Hilton, the rooms are generously sized and luxuriously furnished. The heated outdoor pool offers incredible views across to Devonport.
Because of these factors the Hilton is perfect for executive business travellers, romantic couples getaways, or family holidays. This 5 star hotel isn’t cheap but it’s an experience you will never forget. A great place to stay during the America’s Cup.

This will put you closer to the America’s cup bases than any hotel except the Park Hyatt.
The location is impeccable. It’s in the Viaduct Harbour, a short walk from everything Auckland has to offer but because it’s further away from the bars than the Sebel it’s a bit quieter.
Because it boasts an amazing day spa and first class restaurants, it’s an experience not to be missed. There’s spectacular views from the marina view rooms and all rooms have a balcony.
It’s a close walk to many of Auckland’s best restaurants, make sure you don’t miss Baduzzi in Wynyard Quarter.

The Sebel Viaduct Harbour is right in the heart of the viaduct above some of Auckland’s finest restaurants. It can be a little noisy on weekend nights as it’s in the busiest part of the viaduct. The higher the room the less noise there is. You will be spoilt for choice of restaurants. No other Auckland hotel puts you into the action of the Viaduct Harbour nightlife like the Sebel.
Book it now for the America’s Cup in 2021.

Travelodge is the budget option that’s still close to the action. This is 2 minutes walk from the Park Hyatt and 3 minutes to the Team New Zealand Base. It’s set just a little back from the waters edge but still has views from some rooms. You’ll still get all of the atmosphere with out the price tag of some of the other options.

QT Auckland brings a dose of quirky fashion to the Viaduct. It’s a boutique 5 Star Hotel in a converted office building. This hotel has plenty of design flair and brings something a little different to the Viaduct area. This will be a great place to stay during the America’s Cup, if the Park Hyatt, and Hilton are full.

M Social is a great 4 star hotel in Auckland right across the road from the Viaduct Harbour. Because it’s such a great location on Auckland’s waterfront many of the rooms have fabulous sea views. Making it a fantastic choice during the America’s Cup in 2021.
It’s at the top end of 4 star hotels in Auckland, I’d almost call it a 5 star. With 190 rooms it’s quite large, perfect for families and couples. It’s really close to the Ferry Terminal, Britomart train station and obviously the Viaduct Harbour. This is a top quality Viaduct hotel with a lot of activities located nearby. The only negative is it doesn’t have a pool.
