This 4 star hotel is right next to Auckland International Airport Terminal. It is literally 20 metres from the hotel to the escalator at the terminal entrance. If you need to stay near the airport this is the closest and most convenient hotel. It’s equiped with everything you would expect in a 4 star hotel except for a pool. There’s also not much room outside to play if you’re travelling with children. The best hotel for business travelers and late night arrivals.

IBIS Budget Auckland Airport Hotel
A 2 star budget hotel close to the airport. It’s a great option for families travelling on a budget. It’s an airport hotel so better suited to a single night that a long stay. It’s new and clean and well kept, showing 2 star hotels don’t have to be a bad experience. The location is next to a small mall and has plenty of cheap dining options nearby. It’s also really close to the airport. Only Novotel is closer.
Jet Park Hotel Auckland Airport
A well run family owned hotel. JetPark knows its market. They offer a free shuttle to and from the Auckland Airport and offer free long term airport parking for New Zealanders who stay overnight before going on holiday.
It has a large modern conference centre and is perfect for business travellers and company conferences. It’s also also great for families. If you’re staying in Auckland for a longer holiday this is not your best choice. But it’s great for one or two nights if you need to be near the airport.
Holiday Inn Auckland Airport
Great for families. Holiday Inn is close enough to the airport you don’t need to worry about Auckland traffic to make a flight. It’s built around a courtyard with a pool and area for children to play. It’s got a nice bar and is popular with flight crews and business travellers as well. Perfect for an overnight stay but if you’re in Auckland for a longer visit you’ll want a hotel near the CBD.
Sudima Hotel Auckland Airport
This is a typical 4 star Airport hotel. It’s nice enough for an overnight stay. Clean and well maintained. Great for those on a layover, flight crews and business travellers. Sandwiched between a major road and an industrial estate, it’s nice inside and close to the airport, if you don’t want to eat in the hotel restaurant you’ll need to uber to find something else.
