Auckland is known as the City of Sails. A stay at the Hilton literally puts you out on the harbour amongst the yachts. The accommodation is located on the tip of Princess wharf so the views of Auckland’s waterfront are incredible. There is no doubt the Hilton is one of Auckland’s best hotels.
This hotel is located next to Viaduct Harbour which is a must do location to visit, with more restaurant choices than you’ll be able to try during your stay. Because of its location it’s a short walk to anywhere in Auckland’s central business district, as well as Britomart Train Station, the Maritime Museum and the ferry terminal.
As you would expect from accommodation by Hilton, the rooms are generously sized and luxuriously appointed. The heated outdoor pool is one of Auckland’s best because it offers incredible views across to Devonport.
This is an apartment hotel and doesn’t have all of the amenities you might expect from Auckland’s best hotel accommodation. However it makes up for its lack of a restaurant, pool, and day spa with its location. The Sebel is right in the heart of the Viaduct Harbour. Directly above some of Auckland’s finest restaurants. It can be a little noisy on weekend nights as it’s in the busiest part of the Viaduct. The higher the floor your room is on the less noise there is. No other hotel accommodation puts you into the action of the Viaduct Harbour nightlife like The Sebel.

This is a beautiful and well appointed hotel that has been recently renovated. The heated rooftop pool is one of Auckland’s best hotel pools. Eight Restaurant offers eight different kitchens each offering their own cuisine, they really do cater to every taste.
Located in at the top end of town this 5 star hotel is a long walk from the Viaduct Harbour and Auckland’s waterfront attractions. It is located over the road from a cemetery which may be of concern to some guests, but for most it is just a beautiful park like view.

It’s located on Albert Street, a central city location roughly halfway between Skycity and the Viaduct Harbour. As such most of Auckland’s attractions are in easy walking distance, however none are on the doorstep either.
