Heritage Auckland Hotel Review
Overview
This is a nice mid range 4 star hotel, the rooms are starting to get a little tired but the staff are excellent. It’s in a central location between SkyCity and the Viaduct. The rooftop pool is great, one of Auckland’s best hotel pools. The heritage building was once Auckland largest department store.
Location
The location is a 8/10 for tourists.Located between SkyCity and the Viaduct Harbour, it’s a short walk to either but you are staying in between in a kind of no man’s land. There is really nothing in the location, but it’s a close walk to a lot of different activities.
Restaurants & Bars
There’s a restaurant and bar in the hotel. Have a meal there by all means but I recommend a short walk to either SkyCity/Federal Street or the Viaduct for a really memorable meal.
Accommodation Standard
The standard of accommodation offered at Heritage Auckland is a 7/10. Many reviews mention the friendly staff and service but also the tired rooms. They are a decent size and the building is nice. They offer family rooms and have a fantastic rooftop pool as well as an indoor lap pool and a hot tub. Great for families and couples on a budget.
