Each room has a kitchenette so you can cook in your room to reduce costs. This is a great option for longer stays but is also available for stays as short as one night.
Quest on Hobson is located about 1 city block from the Sky Tower. This is not the best location in the CBD but you can walk anywhere from here.

Really close to Britomart train station and a short walk to the Viaduct in the heart of Auckland CBD. This apartment hotel is located on Queen Street too, but well up the hill from Quest on Queen. Quest Auckland is close to Aotea Square, K Road and Myers Park. (Avoid Myers Park after dark.)
Quest on Eden Serviced Apartments
Quest on Eden is studio, one and two bedroom serviced apartments near Auckland University. This is named for Eden Crescent the road, it is nowhere near Mt Eden. This is a good location if you want to be near the university. It’s also a quieter part of town. It’s not that close to the viaduct of the Sky Tower but you can walk it, it is within the CBD.
The studio apartments have a kitchenette while the one and two bedroom apartments have full kitchens.
Quest on Beaumont Serviced Apartments
Quest on Beaumont is located next to Victoria Park in Auckland’s CBD. It’s close to Ponsonby and the Viaduct as well as Victoria Park Market. Victoria Park happens to be Auckland’s best Skate Park and is a great location for families.

Quest Ponsonby Serviced Apartments
Quest Ponsonby is located in the upmarket suburb of Ponsonby. A walkable distance from the CBD or a short Taxi ride. Ponsonby is a destination suburb with it’s mix of Bars, Restaurants and boutique fashion shops. Directly over the road from Western Park and conveniently located next to a supermarket (as well as many of Auckland’s finest restaurants.)

Quest Henderson is the perfect location for anyone doing business in West Auckland, or for families visiting West Auckland. If you’re a tourist on your first visit to Auckland Henderson is not the location I recommend staying in. That said if you need to stay in Henderson Quest is the place to stay. Choose either a studio, 1 or 2 bedroom apartment, all with kitchen facilities.
Quest Highbrook Serviced Apartments
If you are doing business in Highbrook then Quest Highbrook is the place to stay. It’s the only hotel in Highbrook so Quest service apartment hotel is the logical choice. It’s got great motorway access and is in the centre of Auckland’s new industrial heart. Many of the studio, one, and two bedroom apartments offer great views of the Tamaki River. The Quest Highbrook is in The Crossing a small but growing dining, and shopping hub that services the business park. It offers several dining options or you can cook in the apartment. I wouldn’t recommend it for a vacation but if you’re on a business trip and need to be near highbrook this is a nice place to stay.
Quest Albany Serviced Apartments
Quest Albany is a great option for both business people and families. It’s location in Albany is excellent, close to the large business in Albany Industrial Estate but not in it. It’s close to Albany Stadium, Albany Westfield Mall, and the east coast beaches. Make sure you visit Long Bay for a swim and Browns Bay for a drink.

Ramada Suites by Wyndham Nautilus Orewa is an serviced holiday apartment hotel in a stunning location overlooking Orewa Beach, surrounded by cafe, bars and restaurants. This a great location for a family holiday. With a selection of studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, all with kitchens (but sadly not air conditioning). They have a great pool as well and this is a great swimming beach, with surf that’s usually fairly small.

Ramada Suites by Wyndham Albany is an apartment hotel overlooking the motorway in Albany. It’s close to Albany Mall, Albany Industrial Estate, Massey University Albany Campus and the East Coast Beaches. This is a good option for business people and families. Opened in 2017 it’s still new feeling and the 65 serviced apartments are well furnished. All contain kitchen and laundry facilities. Apartments are available in studio, one or two bedroom.
Ramada Suites by Wyndham Federal Street Serviced Apartments
Ramada Suites by Wyndham Federal Street offers studio, one, two or three bedroom serviced apartments in Auckland’s CBD. It’s located next to Aotea Centre and close to the Sky Tower. One of only a few to offer 3 bedroom apartments in the city it is a great option for larger families or groups of work colleagues. All apartments have kitchen facilities and laundry facilities in room.
Ramada Suites by Wyndham Victoria Street West Serviced Apartments
Ramada Suites by Wyndham Victoria. Located approximately halfway between SkyCity and the Viaduct this is a very central location. It isn’t the best location but it is close to all of the best spots. Great for business or family holidays. The serviced apartments available range from a deluxe room (the most basic option with no real kitchen), studio, one and two bedroom units.
Ramada Suites by Wyndham Manukau Serviced Apartments
Ramada Suites by Wyndham Manukau opened in late 2019. It offers studio, one and two bedroom apartments as well as Deluxe rooms which are more like a hotel room with no kitchen facilities.
It’s located next to the Vodafone Events Centre and Manukau Mall. It’s also really close to Rainbows End theme park and Wero White Water Rafting park. These apartments are pretty close to Auckland Airport as well but be warned at peak times the drive from Manukau can still take 30 minutes.

Swiss-Belsuites is a 5 star Apartment Hotel on Victoria Park, very close to Wynyard Quarter and the Viaduct. Offering spacious Apartments in studio, 1, 2 or 3 bedroom. All of them are generously sized. Even the studio apartments are 37 square metres. This is a really nice location, between Ponsonby and the Viaduct.
Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences Serviced Apartments
Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences is an apartment hotel. The rooms are studio, 1 bedroom of 2 bedroom apartments with cooking facilities. The hotel has access to the buildings gym and pools which are excellent.
Avani Hotel is between Kitchener Street and High Street which is an excellent central location. The Hotel itself has no restaurant but there are many excellent restaurants on High Street. Vivace Restaurant is not to be missed. Or a short walk will take you to Cassia, Auckland’s best equal restaurant in 2019.

Oak Hotels Auckland Harbour Suites offers Studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in an excellent Britomart location. located on Gore Street opposite the fabulous SO/ Hotel. Ask for a high floor room to get the best views. If you want to stay at SO/ but can’t afford it then this is the hotel for you.
Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland Serviced Apartments
This is an older apartment style hotel with studio and one bedroom apartments. They are small apartments with minimal facilities. the sea view apartments are better but it’s a 3 star standard in a good location. It’s really close to the Viaduct, so great for a boozy business trip.
Quality Hotel Parnell
Located in a quiet part of Parnell away from the shops and restaurants Quality Hotel Parnell offers a mix of studio, one bedroom and 2 bedroom serviced apartments. Perfect for groups or families. Many of the rooms have a kitchenette, allowing you to cook a basic meal in your room, they also offer standard hotel rooms so if you want a self contained apartment make sure you view all of the room details when booking.
Proximity Serviced Apartments Manukau
Proximity Apartments is located in Manukau right next to the Manukau shopping Mall. It’s also close to Rainbows End Theme Park, Wero Whitewater park and the Vodafone Events Centre. It’s also relatively close to the airport (compared to the CBD) but by no means is it an airport hotel, there are many others much closer.
It offer studio, one bedroom 2 bedroom and deluxe two bedroom apartments. The fit out is fairly cheap and it’s a 3 star at best, but does offer affordable accommodation for families. The views from the upper rooms are generally pretty good as there is not a lot of other highrise in Manukau to block the view.
Latitude 37 Holiday Apartments Viaduct Harbour
These are premium quality serviced holiday apartments on the waterfront in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour. The rates vary depending on the length of your stay and the building has a high rate of owner occupancy with limited stock of apartments available for rent at any time. These book out well in advance so it pays to plan ahead and book early for popular times. They offer excellent rates for long term stays in this location. Available in Studio, One bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartments these are more generously sized than most other apartments, even the smallest apartments have a full bath. Some of the two bedroom apartments also have two bathrooms so a perfect for two couples travelling together. Well priced for the location, if you can afford it and you want an apartment for a week this is the place to stay. Auckland’s best holiday apartments by far.
Comfort Inn & Suites Kudos Auckland Airport Serviced Apartments
Looking like small industrial units on the outside and hastily converted office space on the inside. These serviced apartments have two redeeming features, they are close to the airport, and they are generously sized at 72 square metres. Each apartment sleeps up to 4 people with a double and two single beds. or two double beds.
Stay here because you HAVE to be near the airport. If you’re in town for a few days and want to experience the best Auckland has to offer please find somewhere a little more scenic.
The Quadrant Hotel and Suites
The Quadrant Hotel and Suites is an apartment hotel with studio, one and two bedroom serviced apartments on offer. It’s next door to the 5 star Pullman HOtel and directly across the road from the University of Auckland. It’s a quieter part of the CBD and away from the more popular tourist locations but you can walk from here to anywhere in the CBD. You may find yourself taking a few more taxis than you would in a more central location though. The rooms are equipped with kitchenettes, and larger rooms have full kitchens. This is economical family accommodation in the CBD.
Waldorf St Martins Serviced Apartments
Waldorf St Martins Apartment Hotel is located at the top end of Auckland’s CBD near the 5 star Cordis Hotel. It is just off Symonds Street overlooking the motorway interchange. It offers pleasant views from the higher rooms. The apartments are all one or two bedroom but there are three tiers of each. It’s worth the extra for the view.
This part of town is close to the Auckland Hospital, The Auckland Domain and Museum. It’s also fairly close to Auckland University of Technology and the University of Auckland. Hovering on the border between 3 star and 4 star. It does have a pool which anyone with kids will appreciate. It’s also close to one of Auckland’s oldest cemeteries. To most people it just looks like a park but if you’re put off by graveyards it’s good to know about it before you book.
Nesuto Stadium Serviced Apartments
This is a large serviced apartment hotel located between Britomart and Spark Arena (a popular Auckland concert and sports venue). It’s near the waterfront and you can walk to anywhere in the CBD from this location.
The hotel is of a higher standard than many apartment hotels in Auckland with generous room sizes. It’s been renovated in late 2019. There’s a mixture of studio, one and two bedroom apartments as well as standard hotel rooms without cooking and laundry facilities. Make sure you check the details when booking. This is easily 4 star standard accommodation.
Nesuto Celestion Serviced Apartments
This is a large apartment hotel located on the edge of Britomart. It’s an excellent central location and offers a range of serviced apartments and hotel rooms. From standard hotel rooms to studios, one and two bedrooms plus a penthouse on the top floor. Nesuto Celestion is 4 star apartment living. All apartments have kitchen facilities, the hotel rooms do not so be careful when booking.
The Sebel Quay West Serviced Apartments
This is a large high rise Apartment Hotel by Accor Group. The Sebel Quay West is at the higher end of 4 star serviced apartments in Auckland. Rooms on higher floors and those facing the water have amazing views and the apartments are more generously sized than some other options.
VR Takapuna Serviced Apartments
This apartment hotel has a restaurant and bar and nice views across the harbour to the CBD from some rooms. It’s actually in Bayswater which is close to Takapuna but don’t think it’s a short walk to Takapuna beach. There is a ferry from Bayswater Marina to the CBD and the hotel has a shuttle to take you down to the ferry and pick you up.
